Puget Sound Business Journal Awards Intelius

In August 2008, Intelius, the online people search provider and screening specialist, became a finalist for the annual Washington’s Best Workplaces organized by the Puget Sound Business Journal, a weekly newspaper and leading source of business information in various American states. This honor is the second consecutive year that Intelius made it into the list.

Intelius was chosen out of the 65 finalists selected by Puget Sound’s panel, which included 20 small, medium-sized and large companies, and five nonprofit organizations. Employees from the 300 nominated companies received survey that helped select the finalists using the criteria on work/life balance philosophy, leadership, corporate culture, and ranking in benefit offerings in Washington.

Intellius is a Bellevue-based background and employment check provider. The company’s founder and CEO Naveen Jain gave emphasis on its distinctive corporate culture in the nomination presented for deliberation by the Puget Sound Business Journal. The company’s culture thrives on an approach where all workers of Intelius are welcomed as an essential part of the company and its open-door rule makes sure that everyone, even those from the lowest positions, has a voice.
